email

Electronic mail is basically a way of exchanging messages via electronic means, generally using computers. The first electronic mail system, begun by United States Postal Service (USPS), used a stamp-based system to send mails. Electronic mail entered commercial use in the early 1960s, when it was first used by military personnel as a method for communication, but it remained restricted to a small number of users, like military office workers.
