In online advertising, a landing page, also called a “call-to-action page” (“clickspage”), is a single web page which appears typically when a user clicks on an advertisement. The landing page typically contains a link to the advertiser’s Web site or to the company’s sales or information management system. The landing page is typically displayed immediately after the user has clicked on the advertisement. The landing page is crucial because it directs the user, via the links in its label, to the advertiser’s Web site or to the company’s sales or customer information management system.
