Video is an analog electronic medium for the transmission, copying, playback, broadcast, and playback of moving video information. The term “video” refers to both audio and video. Audio-video tape, the earliest form of video, transmitted information by use of vibrations in a physical medium such as wax, carbon dioxide, or oil, between two pieces of media and ended up with the name “Videotape”. Video started out as a noisy, messy, and slow process that wasted precious time. Later, progressive scan and LCD screens made the transfer of video from theoscope and other early devices much faster and cleaner.
