gantt

A Gantt chart, sometimes called a time-line chart, is a graph showing the process by which a business is managed. The name comes from the father of management studies, Henry Lawrence Gantt. A Gantt diagram is a graphical representation of an outsourcing task, named after Henry Gantt who developed such a chart about the early twentieth century. Today, Gantt diagrams are still used in many industries, particularly in Information Technology departments. They represent work flows within a company by showing all the steps a person must take to accomplish a certain task.
